Welcome to the home page of Shiu Lung Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy, the centre for Wing Chun Kung Fu training on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Our academy is recognised by the International Wing Chun Academy Sydney and offers traditional Wing Chun training. Our Head Instructor Robert Ardito's training lineage can be traced back 300 years to the founder of Wing Chun Ng Mei.

Why study Wing Chun Kung Fu at Shiu Lung Academy?

Shiu Lung Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy caters to all people wishing to learn this amazing martial art. Wing Chun is not extrenuous on the body and does not require high levels of fitness and stamina. Instead, Wing Chun focuses upon correct body structure and alignment. We do not fight force with force. Instead you will taught to neutralise and deflect incoming strikes with minimal movement and effort.

What type of training does Shiu Lung Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy offer?

Shiu Lung Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy offers only private one-on-one training. This ensures the highest quality of training for anyone wishing to learn Wing Chun Kung Fu. Students are able to learn at a considerably faster rate in this teaching environment that in a large class structure. If you are serious about your training, then it is the only way to train.

I would prefer flexibility in my training schedule, Is this ok?

Yes of course. Shiu Lung Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy's instructors are able to arrange personal training schedules with you. All times however will be subject to availability and need to be arranged in advance.

Are my children also able to train?

Yes. Shiu Lung Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy offers private lessons for both children (ages 7 and over) and adults. There is no age limit as to when you can start...so why not start today?

• MONTHLY WORKSHOPS - privately trained students can test their skills once a month in a Wing Chun workshop. The workshop will last two hours and be held on the second Saturday of each month.
